The Lower Elwha Food & Fuel Convenience Store is now open at the corner of Hwy 101 and Dry Creek Road. The Tribe, with construction by PNE Corporation of Longview, WA, has built the convenience store and eight fuel pump facility on tribal trust land.
Fuel available includes unleaded, diesel and ethanol free, with high speed diesel coming soon. The store offers a selection of grab and go food items, beverages, beer and wine, and other convenience items. Store hours are 5 am – 10 pm, with expanded summer hours coming soon. A new 24 foot LED lighted sign on the property advertises the store, fuel and the Elwha River Casino just three miles away.
The Tribe is working on construction of a de-acceleration lane off of Highway 101 for improved traffic safety.
