On March 3rd, from 3 to 5pm, the Clallam Progressive Coalition will host a free public forum.
Clallam County Women in Politics: A Panel Discussion.
Meeting at Port Angeles Public Library in the Carver Room; and moderated by Port Angeles Mayor, Sissi Bruch.
The panel will consist of elected and appointed women from across the political spectrum. All serving in various capacities, including boards and committees, tribal positions of authority and influence.
Panelist will share their experiences working in government and answer questions on the subject of Women in Politics.
The intent of the panel is to focus on the unique challenges women face-and contributions they make-in serving the public—in political and policy-making roles, encouraging women to take an increased role in local government.
The Clallam Progressive Coalition is a non-partisan political action group registered through the
Public Disclosure Commission and dedicated to a platform of economic, social and environmental
matters ensuring the health, rights and well-being of our community..
This will (hopefully) be the first of many such discussions..
