Noxious Weeds Have Had It

Former Clallam County Community Development Director Sheila Roark-Miller was appointed July 21 to the County’s Noxious Weed Control Board.

Roark-Miller and Fred Grant were appointed by a vote of the Clallam County Board of Commissioners, although they hesitated at the mention of her name.

Commissioner Mike Chapman asked if there were any other candidates.

The board’s clerk, Trish Holden, answered that there were two openings and only two applicant volunteers.
